The directors and officers of OCV are:
- Layne Morrill, Director, and President. Layne practiced tax and business law for 44 years in Phoenix, Arizona, and is now semi-retired from law practice but actively engaged in OCV’s work. Visit Layne’s LinkedIn page.
- Elizabeth R. Morrill, Director, and Secretary. Liz is a retired speech and hearing pathologist and a full-time grandmother to Jack and Myla.
- Dennis Snyder, Director. Dennis is a former sales executive in the automotive service industry.
- James R. Craig, Director. Craig is a manager at Le Bec restaurant in Depoe Bay, who rented and later purchased a townhome at Aqua Vista Square.
Mr. and Mrs. Morrill and Mr. Snyder are age sixty-nine or older. So, the board is focused on a plan for a younger generation to continue OCV’s work and programs.
James R. Craig, a manager at Le Bec restaurant in Depoe Bay, first rented, and later purchased, a townhome at Aqua Vista Square. James became a director of OCV in 2016. He brings to the board his perspective as a participant in OCV’s housing programs, his acquaintance with many of the young workers in Yachats, his love for life in this coastal village, and his being about two generations younger than the other directors.
The Board continues the search for another director to fill a current vacancy hopefully one willing to learn OCV’s management needs and serve a management apprenticeship to prepare to assume management when Mr. Morrill steps down.
